Lighting Designer with AGI32 Experience

Role Overview:

• The Lighting Designer plays a crucial role in supporting the design team in creating innovative, functional, and compliant lighting solutions. This position involves assisting with lighting design, modeling, and simulations while ensuring adherence to Australian standards and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lighting design team with formulating designs.
• Lighting design & support
• Assist with lighting modelling.
• Assist with converting lighting mark up into lighting designs.
• Complete all lighting design/simulation requirements in accordance with design team requirement.
• Implementing Different Australian Standards to Lighting model.

Qualified Candidates:

• Electronic Engineering and/or Degree in Architecture/Interior Design and/or Degree in Design.
• Understanding of drawing symbols, scales, and standards specific to lighting design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret Architecture and electrical drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to think on their feet, learn quickly, and adapt to challenges.
• Previous experience using AutoCAD and AGI 32.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to compliance management.
• Strong computer literacy, MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel - advanced) and PDF Editors.
• Ability to communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional manner.
• Self-motivated, excellent time management and planning abilities.
• Team player and self -starter, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• 1-3 years demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in the lighting and/or Architecture industry.
• Understanding Australian standards and regulations.

Work Schedule:

• Employment type: Full-time
• Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM (Tentative)
• Work setup: Permanent WFH
