The UX Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences across CIT’s digital platforms. This role requires expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to create user-friendly applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to optimize the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to improve user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UX/UI designs.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and pattern libraries.
- Optimize user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
- Stay updated on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, UI design, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Experience conducting user research, A/B testing, and gathering feedback.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design approaches.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with front-end developers and understanding HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Knowledge of interaction design and motion design principles.
- Previous experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or enterprise application design.
