About the role
A Forklift Operator role involving the transport and management of goods within a warehouse racking system, coordinating with stockmen, and preparing orders for customer issuance.
Key responsibilities
Handle transport of goods from marshalling area of receiving bays to designated slots within racking system
Ensure palletized goods received conform to standard pallet configuration and are directed to agreed location of stockman in charge
Assist stockmen in housekeeping and compression of stock under storage locations
Move items from racks to 1st floor for re-palletizing and return items to racking system
Replenish pick-lines with next expiry date in coordination with stockman assigned
Handle transport of bulk orders for key customers from storage locations to staging area in preparation for issuance
Perform functions assigned by immediate superior
About you
At least College Level education
Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse operation as forklift operator (licensed driver)
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
Good communication skills
Organized
Results-oriented
Can multi-task
Amenable to be deployed in Benby Warehouse location
