? We’re Hiring: Property Accountants & Accounting Manager

? Remote | Independent Contractor

? US-Aligned Night Shift | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

? Monthly Contractor Rate: Starting at PHP 60,000, depending on experience and position level

We are seeking experienced accounting professionals to support a US-based vacation rental and property management company.

Available roles:

• Property Accountant

• Senior Property Accountant

• Accounting Manager/Team Lead

Candidates with direct experience in vacation rentals, property management, hospitality, trust accounting, or multi-property accounting will have a strong advantage.

? Key Responsibilities – Property Accountants

• General Ledger management across multiple properties or entities

• Journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and accounting adjustments

• Bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and trust account reconciliations

• Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support

• Reconciliation of guest payments, booking transactions, platform fees, refunds, and deposits

• Preparation of owner statements, owner payouts, and property-level financial reports

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing

• Investigation of discrepancies and unreconciled transactions

• Lodging, occupancy, or sales tax reporting support

• Coordination with finance, property operations, owners, and other stakeholders

? Additional Responsibilities – Accounting Manager/Team Lead

• Lead, support, and develop a remote accounting team

• Review reconciliations, journal entries, financial reports, and close deliverables

• Manage closing schedules and ensure deadlines are met

• Oversee property, trust, and entity-level accounting records

• Assign workloads and provide training, coaching, and feedback

• Improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation

• Resolve escalated accounting and reconciliation issues

• Support system implementations and process improvements

✅ Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong General Ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close experience

• Hands-on AP and AR experience

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

• Experience using accounting software or ERP platforms

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely

• Availability to work hours aligned with a US-based team

⭐ Preferred

• Vacation rental, property management, hospitality, or trust accounting experience

• Experience managing multiple properties, entities, or bank accounts

• Trust or escrow account reconciliation experience

• Experience preparing owner statements or processing owner payouts

• Experience reconciling transactions from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or similar platforms

• Familiarity with vacation-rental property management systems

• Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, or similar platforms

• Previous experience supporting US-based companies

• CPA designation or equivalent certification

• Leadership or people-management experience for manager applicants

? Independent Contractor Setup

• Fully remote, full-time engagement

• Own reliable computer/equipment required

• Stable internet connection and backup connection required

• Contractor manages their own taxes and statutory contributions
