Senior Video Editor & Post-Production Lead | Wedded Wonderland

This is a remote position.

About the Role

Wedded Wonderland is a global destination weddings and luxury celebrations platform connecting high-spending couples, luxury travellers, and celebration seekers with luxury venues, hotels, tourism boards, and premium brands across more than 50 countries.

Video drives our audience growth across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube. We have editors producing it. What we do not have is someone who owns the standard.

This role is that person. You are the final word on whether a cut ships. You set the look, you write down what good means, and you hold a small editing team to it. You are a working editor with the judgement and the standing to send work back and say exactly what is wrong with it.

This is not a coordinator role moving cards across a board. If you have stopped editing and do not want to start again, this is not your job.

What You'll Own

The Standard

Within your first 30 days you will produce the things we are missing: a video style guide, a grading look our editors apply consistently, a hook library built from our own best-performing posts, and a quality checklist an editor runs before submitting. Right now feedback sounds like personal taste because nothing is written down. You will fix that.

The Review

Every piece of video passes you before it goes out. You give notes that are specific and actionable, in writing, against a timeline. You decide what ships.

The Hero Work

You cut the pieces that matter most yourself: flagship destination films, tourism board campaigns, luxury brand partnerships.

The Editors

You lead our global team of editors. You lift their grading, masking, pacing and hook craft through review, example and training, not by quietly re-cutting their work.

The Pipeline

You own how work moves from brief to delivery: intake, versioning, review rounds, approvals, asset libraries and archive. We are choosing this stack now and you will help pick it.

Collaboration

You work daily with our Social Media Manager in Sydney. She owns what the content is for, being the brief, the brand and the commercial goal. You own whether the execution is good enough. She should not have to be the quality gate on craft, and you should not have to guess at commercial intent.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years editing for luxury, lifestyle, travel or premium consumer brands
  
• You grade properly, not with a preset. You can take log footage from 3 cameras and a brand reference and make it look like 1 piece. Your reel shows it
  
• Masking and compositing: rotoscoping, keying, tracking, clean-up. You solve the shots other editors call impossible
  
• You have led, trained or reviewed other editors, and you can describe how their work changed because of you
  
• Deep understanding of hooks, retention, pacing, captions and sound design for short-form. You can explain why a specific opening works, not just copy one
  
• You read a brief and can say what the video is for and who it is aimed at
  
• Strong written English. Most of your feedback will be read, not heard, so clear writing is a core requirement of this role rather than a bonus
  
• Strong aesthetic judgment suitable for luxury and premium brands
  
• Self-managed workflow and reliable deadline management
  

Nice to Have

• Experience filming as well as editing
  
• Motion graphics and After Effects depth
  
• AI-assisted editing workflows using tools such as Runway, Sora, Veo, CapCut or ElevenLabs
  
• Experience with Frame.io, LucidLink, Shade.io, Resilio, Zoho Projects, ClickUp, Notion or Monday. Almost nobody in this market has the media-specific tools, so we will teach you ours. Tell us what you have actually used to move files and collect feedback, even if it was Google Drive and a spreadsheet
  
• Experience working with tourism boards, hotel groups or luxury fashion brands
  
• Long-form YouTube editing
  

Hours

Day Shift , Monday to Friday, weekends off.

This is a genuine day shift, not a graveyard shift dressed up as one. Our team is online while you are, so you get answers during your working day instead of waiting overnight for them.

The Lifestyle

The content you will work on includes destination weddings and luxury experiences across Tuscany, Bali, Santorini, Dubai, the Maldives and other premium destinations.

This role suits a creative professional who wants to build a high-end portfolio while working with globally recognised luxury and travel brands.

Shortlisted candidates complete a one-way video screening, then a live session where you walk us through your own existing work and your decisions in it.

Final decisions are typically made within 48 hours of the live session.

We hire on creative judgment, technical capability and portfolio quality rather than years of experience alone.
