Role Overview
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using UiPath . The role involves end‑to‑end automation delivery—from process analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and production support.
This position is suitable for candidates with solid hands‑on RPA experience and exposure to enterprise automation environments.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development (UiPath)
- Design, develop, and maintain RPA solutions using UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator
- Implement reusable, scalable workflows with proper exception handling
- Integrate automations with applications, files, databases, and APIs
- Follow RPA best practices, coding standards, and SDLC processes
Process Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities
- Create solution designs and technical documentation
- Optimize workflows for stability, performance, and maintainability
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Perform unit testing, UAT support, and post‑deployment validation
- Support production automations, including monitoring and incident resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues and defects
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain process documents, technical specs, and runbooks
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and technical leads
- (Senior level) Provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- Hands‑on experience with UiPath RPA (Studio & Orchestrator)
- Strong understanding of RPA concepts, automation best practices, and SDLC
- Experience designing workflows with exception handling and reusability
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Experience Level
- Junior Automation Engineer: Minimum 2+ years UiPath RPA experience
- Senior Automation Engineer: Minimum 4+ years UiPath RPA experience
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud Flows and/or Desktop)
- Experience with OCR / Document Understanding tools
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., VB.NET, C#, Python)
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, or version control tools
- UiPath certification is a plus
