Technical Project Manager
Vela Ventures Inc.
• Determine internal and external clientele’s technical
needs and desires by specifying the research needed for product build.
• Translate business
strategy into product and technical strategy.
• Execute product
strategy with constant monitoring and controlling.
• Collaborate with
business stakeholders, understand the value each project brings to the
business, and help prioritize projects accordingly.
• Plan and prioritize
product feature backlog and development for the product.
• Manage and monitor
tasks, deliverables, and timelines of product development.
• Work closely with
Business Analysts to ensure accurate product requirements and definitions.
• Work with
management, stakeholders, and product development teams to ensure the quality
and timely delivery of web products.
• Manage and monitor
processes and procedures to ensure efficient communication and effort between
the PMO, 3rd party delivery teams, and other relevant departments.
• Provide
recommendations on technical decisions when creating business cases for product
development.
• Identify
opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through technical
solutions.
• Conduct regular
product and project status communications and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee web
development projects, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed on
time.
• Collaborate with
business analysts and stakeholders to define accurate product requirements and
prioritize product features.
• Monitor and manage
communication processes between internal teams, external contractors, and
third-party delivery teams.
• Provide technical
recommendations and guidance for product development and improvement.
• Ensure seamless
transitions within the web development team and maintain effective
relationships with third-party contractors.
• Identify and
implement opportunities for automation and increased efficiency in product
development processes.

web development projects under the manager’s remit.
• Optimal utilization
of project resources, particularly 3rd parties.
