Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated, positive and keen Accountant who will be completing accounting, compliance and tax related work from start to finish.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1 year Australian/Philippine accounting and taxation experience
Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook
Experience with relevant accounting systems
The person must be keen to learn and develop their computer competencies
Particularly good in verbal and written English communication skills
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements
Preparation of monthly/quarterly BIR returns
Prepare P & L and cash flow budgets for the company
Payroll Processing and Year end finalisations
Manage a day-to-day operational task Accounts Payable and Receivable
Manage tax compliance requirements
Working closely with the managers to understand their business intimately
Contributing to policies, procedures and related controls to ensure efficiency and continuing improvement
Assist Clients with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Queries
Attending client meeting and Assisting clients where required in developing their own internal administration and financial systems and process.
Other duties as requested by the company
