Role Overview

As our Billing and Reporting Specialist, you’ll manage invoicing and reporting across multiple business units—preparing and processing invoices, delivering accurate billing and management reports, and maintaining consolidated records of all billing activity. You’ll also support the Accounts Receivable function by following up on outstanding balances, assisting with collections, and resolving payment discrepancies while ensuring consistent practices and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver Accurate Invoicing: Complete customer invoicing across multiple business units within agreed timeframes.

· Keep Revenue Records Current: Maintain and update schedules of customer contracts and revenue information for each business unit.

· Turn Data into Insight: Prepare regular and ad hoc billing and management reports, both consolidated and segmented by business unit, for management review.

· Protect Billing Consistency: Ensure billing processes and data remain accurate and consistent across all business units.

· Support Accounts Receivable: Follow up with clients to encourage timely payment and help resolve payment discrepancies.

· Stay Ahead of Overdues: Monitor outstanding balances, identify overdue accounts, and escalate issues when required.

· Resolve Client Queries: Communicate professionally with clients about their accounts and address billing issues.

· Maintain a Clear Audit Trail: Keep accurate records of billing and collection activities across all supported business units.

· Respond with Urgency: Address queries from customers and internal departments promptly and clearly.

· Improve the Process: Use available automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline AR workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve insight quality.

· Uphold Compliance: Follow company policies and all relevant regulations.

Skills & Experience

· At least 3 years’ experience in a similar billing role, ideally supporting multiple business units or entities.

· Demonstrated experience preparing billing and management reports.

· Accounts receivable and customer account management experience is highly regarded.

· Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume billing environment.

· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.

· Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple business units.

· Experience using automation or AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, or insight in finance or operational workflows.
