JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Inspector is responsible for conducting detailed site and ocular inspections, verifying measurements, assessing technical requirements, and ensuring compliance with approved standards and specifications. The role focuses on accurate project assessment, quality verification, proper documentation, and technical support to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Site Inspection & Technical Assessment
- Conduct site visits and ocular inspections for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Take accurate site measurements and validate technical requirements.
- Assess site conditions, structural limitations, and installation feasibility.
B. Documentation & Reporting
- Provides proper documentation regarding site findings, measurements, and observations.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports when necessary.
- Maintain proper records for future reference and project tracking.
C. Quality Control & Compliance
- Inspect ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure that the materials used and installation methods meet technical requirements.
- Support implementation of quality control procedures on-site.
D. Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with the immediate head and other departments regarding site findings and technical concerns.
- Communicate effectively the technical details with clients during inspections.
- Provide solutions to site-related technical problems.
E. Safety & Standards Compliance
- Compliance to company safety policies and site regulations during inspections.
- Promote best practices in installation and workmanship standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Civil Technology (Civil Tech), or any related courses.
- Experience: Proven experience in technical inspection, quality control, construction, or installation-related roles.
- Knowledge / Skills / Competencies
- Strong knowledge of measurement techniques, materials, and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
