Drug Safety Specialist (Night Shift)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Drug Safety Specialist to perform pharmacovigilance activities in a remote, night-shift role supporting clinical trials across multiple countries. The position involves adverse event monitoring, regulatory reporting, case assessment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day pharmacovigilance activities including adverse event intake, data entry, and coding
• Review and assess adverse event cases for quality, consistency, and accuracy
• Prepare and maintain regulatory safety reports and coordinate reporting activities
• Monitor current pharmacovigilance regulations, publications, and industry practices
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, investigators, and vendors on case follow-up and project implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• Two or more years of comparable pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience
• Knowledge of pathophysiology, disease processes, and relevant therapeutic areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems
• Strong English communication skills; fluency in local language translation beneficial
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict regulatory deadlines
