They ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with standards, utilizing software like QuickBooks or Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Recording journal entries, managing accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and expense reports.
- Documentation: Organizing, filing, and scanning financial documents, invoices, and receipts.
- Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and audits.
- Communication: Interacting with vendors and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Administrative Tasks: Data entry and supporting the accounting team with daily operational tasks.
