MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - MAGBITANG MALOLOS CHEMOTHERAPY CENTER

About the role

We Hope Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our CONGRESSIONAL Chemotherapy Center. This is a full-time position based in CONGRESSIONAL, where you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment whilst ensuring seamless administrative operations. Your contributions will directly impact patient experience and the overall functionality of our center, making this a vital position within our healthcare facility.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals with professionalism and compassion

2. Managing patient check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation

3. Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments using medical management systems

4. Answering telephone enquiries and directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel

5. Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations

6. Processing patient payments and handling administrative billing enquiries

7. Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional reception area

8. Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

9. Providing patients with information about services, treatment options, and facility procedures

10. Coordinating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations

11. Managing waiting areas to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction

What we're looking for

1. College Graduate (Any course)

2. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical or healthcare setting

3. Proficiency in using medical management software and general office management systems

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino

5. Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

6. Professional and empathetic demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care

7. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy regulations

8. Competent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems

9. Reliable transportation and punctuality to maintain consistent attendance

10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

11. Previous experience in an oncology or chemotherapy center would be highly valued

12. Must be residing in CONGRESSIONAL
