Qualifications:
- High School Graduate (vocational/technical course in Electrical/Plumbing preferred)
- 1-3 years of proven facility maintenance experience.
- Proficient in performing minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building repairs.
- Familiarity with the routine operation and inspection of Genset, pump rooms, fire safety equipment, and utility submeters.
- Physically able to perform demanding tasks (lifting, climbing) and skilled in the safe use of common maintenance tools.
- Highly responsible, able to work independently on scheduled checks, and capable of accurately recording readings and reporting damage.
Job Description
Objectives:
Maintenance workers, also known as repair workers, fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks include plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and air conditioning system maintenance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Regularly check the genset, power room, water tank, and pump room and make sure that all are in good condition and operating properly.
- Makes regular inspection of the entire market and repairs any damages within.
- Roams around the market and checks the conditions and status of fire extinguishers, emergency lights within the market and admin office and reports to the Manager/Supervisor for any concerns regarding the matter.
- Conducts regular gathering of samples in STP (water sampling).
- Conducts the monthly reading of Utility Submeters (electricity and water).
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities given by the Market Manager/Supervisors
- Carry out other related tasks requested by management as the need arises
