Café Barista (Full time, Guiguinto)

As a Café Barista , you excel in preparing high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. You demonstrate proficiency in crafting specialty coffee and tea drinks, preparing breakfast and brunch menu items according to standard recipes, and maintaining efficiency during peak hours. Your welcoming demeanor and attention to detail contribute significantly to creating memorable customer experiences and supporting the team's overall success.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly, inform them about specials and new menu items, answer questions, and efficiently process orders and payments.
• Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes and procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Prepare food items from the menu following established recipes and cooking procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning and restocking service and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils throughout the shift.
• Learn and master beverage blends, food preparation techniques, and menu offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Take inventory counts and manage stock lists to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Work collaboratively as part of a fun, high-energy team to deliver exceptional service.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Maintain neat appearance in accordance with dress code policy and interact professionally with all customers.
• Prepare all café menu items according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Restock inventory systematically and maintain organized stock management lists.

Desirable Skills and Experience
Must-haves:

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Availability to work during peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as scheduled.
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle both beverage preparation and food cooking simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience using POS machines and handling cash transactions.
• Previous barista or café experience is a plus.
• Fresh graduates from college or university are welcome to apply.
