The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of multiple pawnshop branches across the Visayas regions. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, and achievement of business targets while developing strong leadership capability among branch supervisors and staff. This position plays a key role in driving profitability, standardizing operations, and strengthening field execution across geographically dispersed branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily operations of multiple branches across assigned Visayas areas.
- Ensure achievement of branch KPIs such as lending, appraisal, redemption, and sales targets.
- Conduct regular field visits, audits, and operational assessments across branches.
- Mentor, coach, and develop branch supervisors, appraisers, and frontline staff.
- Enforce company policies, operational standards, and compliance requirements.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans per branch.
- Analyze area performance reports and recommend strategic improvements to management.
- Coordinate with head office for operational issues, manpower concerns, and business initiatives.
- Ensure consistent customer service standards across all branches.
- Support training programs and capability development for branch teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in operations, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong background in multi-branch operations management (pawnshop, retail, or financial services preferred).
- Proven ability to manage teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
- Knowledge of operational controls, cash handling, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Willing to travel frequently across Visayas regions.
