MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant – Home Health Aide!

Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our healthcare team and provide virtual administrative and patient support for a US-based healthcare client.

Candidates with US healthcare, BPO Healthcare, or Home Health experience are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with medication prior authorizations, pharmacy-related tasks, or insurance processes is a strong advantage.

Work Schedule and Arrangement

Night Shift

• Remote Work – For applicants residing in the Philippines outside Cebu
• Onsite Work – Applicants residing within Cebu are required to work onsite
• Office Location: 8th Floor, Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and virtual support to US-based healthcare teams.
• Assist with patient-related inquiries and coordination.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with medication-related administrative tasks and documentation.
• Support medication prior authorization (PA) processes when required.
• Coordinate and follow up with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies.
• Review and maintain accurate patient information and healthcare documentation.
• Document calls, communications, and other patient-related activities accurately.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, records, and other healthcare administrative tasks as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow appropriate healthcare privacy guidelines.
• Perform other administrative and healthcare support tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Home Health Aide (HHA) experience is required
• Experience working with home health patients, caregivers, or healthcare teams
• US Healthcare or BPO Healthcare experience is highly preferred
• Experience with medication prior authorization, pharmacy, insurance, referrals, or healthcare documentation is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Computer literate and comfortable using healthcare systems and online platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to handle confidential patient information
• Willing to work on a night shift
• Willing to work during weekends and holidays when required
• For Cebu-based applicants: Willing to work onsite in Cebu IT Park
• For applicants outside Cebu: Must have a stable internet connection and a conducive home workspace

Salary and Monetary Benefits

• Monthly salary: PHP 20,000 – 30,000
• New Hire Bonus: PHP 5,000
• Attendance Bonus: PHP 2,000

Salary offers may vary depending on relevant pharmacy experience, BPO healthcare experience, prior authorization experience, and overall qualifications.
