Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales is responsible for promoting and selling the company's products and services to new and existing clients. This position combines sales and technical knowledge to understand customer needs, recommend suitable solutions, prepare quotations, and maintain strong client relationships. The Technical Sales also coordinates with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential clients to generate sales opportunities.
• Visit clients to discuss their requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and other sales documents.
• Follow up on quotations and negotiate with clients when necessary.
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Coordinate with the operations and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are properly addressed.
• Monitor project and delivery status and provide updates to clients.
• Conduct product presentations and explain technical information in a simple manner.
• Prepare regular sales reports and update customer records.
• Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related electrical engineering field (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, or other closely related engineering programs).
• Licensed Electrical Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and engineering concepts.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel for client meetings and site visits .Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Can prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Willing to travel for client visits and meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

· At least one (1) year of experience in technical sales, engineering, or a related field.

· Experience in the electrical, construction, engineering, or industrial industry is an advantage.

· Knowledge of technical proposals, quotations, and project costing.

· Familiarity with government and private sector bidding processes is an advantage.

Work Setup

· Full-time position.

· Field-based with regular office reporting.

· Requires frequent client visits, meetings, and occasional site inspections.

· May be required to travel within and outside Metro Manila as business needs require.
