Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Preferably with prior experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle varied tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee cost accounting processes, inventory flow, annual inventory counts, and revaluations
- Prepare workpapers supporting monthly closing activities and account balances
- Assist in reviewing monthly financial activities, including analytical review of financial and operational results
- Monitor completeness and accuracy of system-generated invoices and commercial invoices
- Prepare detailed sales summaries and related reports
- Oversee completion of monthly corporate accounting close processes (including overhead expense accounts, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities) ensuring timely journal entries, allocations, variance explanations, and reconciliations
- Support coordination of internal and external audit processes
- Analyze asset, liability, income, and expense accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Provide assistance to the Accounting Manager and Senior Management with special projects, inquiries, and financial analyses
- Collaborate with other departments to address questions or conduct research related to financial statements
