The role

At Love, Bonito we believe great customer experiences start with confident and knowledgeable retail teams. We are looking for a passionate and commercially-minded Retail Trainer to elevate the capabilities of our retail teams. You will partner closely with Store Leaders, Retail Operations and the Global Training team to equip our retail teams with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving business results.

More than delivering training, you’ll be a trusted partner to the business to equip our teams with product knowledge, styling expertise and customer service skills needed to create a memorable shopping experience while driving business performance. Key responsibilities

Training & Facilitation

• Facilitate onboarding, product knowledge, customer service and selling skills training for retail teams
• Deliver new arrivals product launch training and key business initiatives to ensure teams are equipped for every campaign
• Conduct engaging learning sessions using interactive methods such as role plays, styling workshops, case studies and in-store practical activities
• Ensure training programmes consistently reflect Love, Bonito’s brand values and customer experience standards

Coaching & Capability Development

• Conduct regular store visits to reinforce training, observe behaviours and provide actionable feedback to Retail Associates and Store Leaders
• Identify capability gaps and partner with Retail/Area Managers and Store Managers to create targeted coaching and development plans
• Reinforce consistent execution of customer service standards, styling consultations and selling techniques across stores

Performance & Business Partnership

• Analyse customer feedback, customer service audits, business performance and store observations to identify learning opportunities
• Measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance retail capability and customer experience
• Partner closely with Retail/Area Manager and Global Training team to implement regional learning strategies and support new initiatives
• Support store openings, campaign launches and business projects where training expertise is required

Learning Operations

• Maintain training calendars, completion records and learning documentation for the assigned market
• Localise and continuously improve training materials to ensure relevance for the local retail team while maintaining global consistency
• Gather learner feedback and continuously refine training programmes to meet evolving business needs

• A strong coach who enjoys spending time on the shop floor, observing behaviours and providing constructive feedback
• Commercially-minded, with the ability to translate learning initiatives into improved customer experience and business performance
• A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, works independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative and able to build strong relationships with store teams and cross-functional stakeholders 
• Adaptable, curious and always looking for opportunities to improve the learning experience
• A Love, Bonito ambassador who embodies our purpose, culture and values while inspiring others to do the same

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail, preferably within fashion, lifestyle or customer-centric industries
• At least 2 years of experience in training, coaching, learning & development or retail leadership
• Experience facilitating classroom, virtual and in-store learning programmes
• Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Experience developing, adapting or improving training materials is an advantage
• Strong coaching, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable travelling regularly within the assigned market to support retail stores
