We’re seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Local Digital Marketing Support Assistant to assist with remote, repetitive tasks that support our digital marketing initiatives, particularly those related to Google Maps and Google Business Profiles.
This role is ideal for an individual who is comfortable using Android devices, navigating mobile browsers, and following step-by-step instructions on remote desktop software.
What You’ll Do
- Log into a computer remotely via desktop software
- Launch a specific application and follow a set of instructions inside it
- Initiate mobile browser activity (Android-focused) within the application
- Perform a series of tasks on the Android device remotely
- Follow step-by-step instructions with consistency and accuracy
- Report progress or issues as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience using Android phones (Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, etc.)
- Comfortable using the Google Maps app on mobile
- Familiar with Google Business Profiles (what you see when you click a location in Google Maps)
- Competent with remote desktop software (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop)
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions reliably
- Tech-comfortable, even if not highly technical
- Reliable access to a stable internet connection
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Exposure to Local SEO or digital marketing tools
- Familiarity with common Android emulators or automation tools
- Experience in a virtual assistant, QA, or support role
