Accounting Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Must possess excellent numerical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Able to develop and establish financial policies and procedures; can work independently and effectively under stressful conditions and can effectively direct, supervise and execute company policies and procedures
• Must have significant experience in the preparation and submission of tax returns and related statutory financial statements and must be proficient on current BIR policies, rules and regulations
• Proficient in analyzing financial data and can prepare accurate financial reports, operating and capital budget preparation and forecasting
• Must be an excellent communicator and be able to present information in a clear and concise manner to the Board of Directors or senior officers of the organization.
• Possess strong organizational skills and has the ability to maintain detailed records
• Can strongly communicate effectively both written and verbally. 
• Has the ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
• Can contribute fully to the development of the organization and to take on new responsibilities if required to further develop identified opportunities for the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Graduate of BS Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required
• 2-5 years prior supervisory/managerial experience in the same field
• Resident of Baguio City or nearby municipalities
• Willing to work long hours
• Has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Has high level of honesty and integrity
• Has strong interpersonal, managerial and customer service skills required
• Must be Microsoft Office proficient
• Knowledge in XERO Accounting Software is an advantage but not required
