Core Function and Responsibilities :
Sourcing and Supplier Selection :
- Identifying potential suppliers.
- Evaluating their capabilities, reliability, and financial stability
- Conducting market research to understand industry trends and pricing.
- Negotiation: Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.
- Purchasing: Creating and managing purchase orders.
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods and service.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are often preferred.
