Job Description
The Equity Research Analyst is responsible for preparing equity research reports with the objective of providing investors with relevant and actionable investment ideas. The Analyst will also provide marketing support for institutional and retail clients subject to industry regulations and internal compliance standards
Key responsibilities
- Initiate, conduct and uphold comprehensive fundamental analysis of stocks and other securities to evaluate their investment suitability. This analysis encompasses a thorough review of financial statements, the construction of financial models, comparative analysis across sectors and an assessment of industry and macroeconomic trends.
- Monitor industry dynamics and macroeconomic trends through a range of sources, including publicly available information, direct interviews with company management, and third-party channel checks.
- Effectively communicate analysis and investment recommendations through detailed written reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including reports, financial models and databases to support ongoing research efforts.
- Contribute to the preparation of regular Market and Equity presentation briefings tailored for both retail and institutional clients.
- Participate in marketing initiatives that support various business functions with the company, alongside other assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required :
· Strong academic background with Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business management, economics, financial mathematics, or other financial related discipline preferred
· Proven experience in financial analysis and data mining is an advantage
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and impactful stakeholder engagement
· Proficient in MS Office
Preferred :
· Extensive experience in the brokerage or financial services industry, with a solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
