Job Title: Procurement Executive

Role: Freelancer

Duration: 3 months

Location:  Manila, Philippines 

About the role:  

Support the procurement function by executing purchase activities, processing  requisitions and POs,  maintaining supplier records, and  assisting the Procurement Manager with daily tasks to ensure  timely supply of goods and services .

What you will be doing:  

• Process purchase requests, obtain approvals, issue purchase  orders and follow up with suppliers.  
• Provide basic procurement and inventory administrative support, update stock records and  assist the Procurement Manager while learning end-to-end procurement processes  
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier  databases and contracts .  
• Perform regular inventory updates and reconcile stock records with physical counts .  
• Track deliveries and resolve shipment or invoice discrepancies .  
• Assist the Procurement Manager with supplier selection   and vendor performance tracking  
• Prepare procurement reports and basic spend analysis for management .  
• Expedite orders, escalate  delays and coordinate replacements when needed .  
• Familiar with NetSuite .  
• 5  days   work week hybrid.  

What you need to be great in this role:  

• 2--5 years procurement/ purchasing experience or relevant supply-chain role  
• P roficient with MS Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems preferred  
• Good communication and negotiation skills with excellent  co-ordination skills .  
• Strong experience with a MacOS environment .  
• Preference for  candidates with experience  in  working  with different countries in a region .  
• Must be proficient in English – both speaking and writing .

• Self-motivated, working with little supervision.  
• Proven ability to communicate and liaise with junior - mid levels in the business.  
• Discrete about all confidential and personal information.  
• Driven, proactive, helpful, and enthusiastic team player.
• Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies  
• Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
