E-Commerce Specialist
Remote Staff Seeker
We are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to support a growing boutique e-commerce brand.
This role focused on maximizing product visibility and driving revenue across multiple online platforms, including resale and marketplace channels.
The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally strong, capable of transforming content into engaging brand assets while also managing listings, cross-posting, and optimizing performance across platforms like Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, and more.
This position is ideal for someone who can blend aesthetics, strategy, and execution to support both brand growth and direct sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Brand Development (Primary Focus)
Creative Content Production
- Transform raw product photos and videos into polished, engaging content
- Create social media posts, graphics, and promotional materials
- Write captions aligned with a bold, eclectic, elevated brand voice
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms
Brand Voice & Identity
- Help define and refine brand tone and messaging
- Ensure consistency across social media, product listings, and campaigns
- Align content with the brand’s “eclectic, sparkle, western-inspired” style
2. Social Media Management & Execution
Platform Management
- Manage and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Maintain consistent posting schedules and engagement
- Ensure all platforms are aligned with brand and campaign goals
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments and messages
- Support audience engagement and community-building efforts
3. Multi-Platform E-Commerce & Marketplace Management (Expanded Scope)
Platform Management & Listings
- Manage and maintain product listings across platforms such as:
Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Vestiaire Collective
Gilt, Amazon, ThreadUp, and other resale/e-commerce platforms
- Create and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, pricing, tags, images)
- Ensure consistency of product information across all platforms
Cross-Posting & Inventory Management
- Cross-post inventory across multiple platforms efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and prevent overselling
- Utilize cross-listing tools where applicable
Marketplace Optimization
- Optimize listings for visibility and conversion on each platform
- Apply platform-specific best practices (SEO, keywords, categories)
- Track and improve listing performance
4. Growth Strategy & Revenue Optimization
Sales-Focused Strategy
- Identify opportunities to increase product visibility and sales
- Recommend pricing strategies, bundling, and promotions
- Support seasonal campaigns aligned with peak sales periods (Fall/Winter)
Performance Optimization
- Continuously improve listings and content based on performance data
- Test and iterate strategies across platforms
5. Short-Form Video Content (Reels & TikTok Focus)
Video Creation & Editing
- Create and edit engaging short-form videos
- Develop trend-based and brand-aligned content
- Showcase products in a visually compelling way
6. AI Integration & Content Innovation
AI Utilization
- Use AI tools to assist with captions, product descriptions, and workflows
- Explore ways to improve efficiency in content and listing creation
7. Analytics & Performance Tracking
Reporting & Insights
- Track performance across social media and e-commerce platforms
- Analyze engagement, traffic, and sales data
- Provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management and e-commerce
- Hands-on experience with multi-platform selling (Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, etc.)
- Strong understanding of product listing optimization and marketplace SEO
- Experience with cross-posting tools and inventory management systems
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite
- Experience creating short-form video content (Reels/TikTok)
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
