Project Director, Water and Membrane Treatment

A global membrane filtration and separation technology company to appoint a Project Director for its growing Philippine business.
The company combines ceramic and polymeric membrane technologies across microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. Its customers include water utilities, engineering firms and industrial clients. It recently set up a local entity in Manila as its base for project delivery across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
The Role
You will be overall in charge of delivering a water-treatment contract, from design through warranty support. You will also be the main contact for the Employer and the Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full contract: design, supply, installation, commissioning and warranty support
- Manage day-to-day dealings with the Employer and the Engineer: correspondence, progress meetings, submittals and approvals
- Administer the contract, including notices, variations, claims and payment applications
- Own the schedule and budget, and lead recovery plans when needed
- Manage interfaces across design, supply, installation partners and the live-plant operating team
- Report progress and risks to leadership and key stakeholders
What You Bring
- At least 15 years of total professional experience, with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Has led at least one water-treatment or membrane-treatment project of similar complexity
- Has delivered at least one live-plant brownfield retrofit, or a project under a split-contract or design-supply model
- Engineering degree required; licensed engineer preferred
- Strong in contract administration, stakeholder coordination, schedule and cost control, and interface management
- Experience with FIDIC or equivalent contract administration preferred
