Job Title: Assistant Manager – Prime Brokerage Margin & Securities Settlements
Location: BGC, Taguig
Work Schedule: Night Shift
Work Set Up: Onsite and will transition to hybrid after 6 months
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Prime Brokerage Margin & Securities Settlements to join our Market Operations team.
This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of margin calls, cash movements (wire transfers), and reconciliation activities , while managing operational risk and supporting client and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely processing of margin calls and cash/wire payments in line with client instructions
- Monitor and manage daily settlements activities for US domestic markets
- Perform and review money market and cash reconciliations ; investigate and resolve breaks
- Liaise with clients, custodians, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Identify and escalate operational risks and ensure proper resolution
- Ensure adherence to compliance, controls, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and support functions
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team training initiatives
✅ Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in:
- Securities settlements / trade operations
- Prime brokerage / margin operations (preferred)
- Cash operations / reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Margin calls and collateral processes
- Securities settlements (equities, cash trades)
- Reconciliation and break resolution
- SWIFT / wire transfers / cash movements
- Experience working with:
- Custodians, brokers, and global teams
- High-volume, time-sensitive environments
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of risk and escalation processes
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in US market settlements or prime brokerage operations
- Exposure to money market instruments and accounting breaks
- Familiarity with ACAT, SWIFT messaging, or reconciliation systems
