Drywall Installer
Full-time
Phil-FIRST Human Resources and Services Inc.
- Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings according to specifications.
- Install drywall using screws or nails to secure it to the wooden or metal framework.
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams and holes to prepare for finishing.
- Ensure a high level of quality in finishing by sanding and smoothing surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Educational Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience Level: Up to 2 years of experience in drywall installation or related field
- Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of housing construction practices
- Skills and Competencies: Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
- Working Conditions: Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments
