Installer, Mason and Carpenter

- Build walls, partitions, floors, and other structures using appropriate materials.
- Lay and bind building materials with mortar, cement, or other adhesives.
- Repair and restore damaged masonry work, including walls and decorative stonework.
- Replace broken or missing bricks and stones.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, and shape construction materials accurately.
- Prepare work surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and aligning them.
- Mix and apply mortar or concrete to adhere materials.
- Apply finishing techniques such as polishing, sealing, or coating for durability and appearance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on-site.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Work closely with other construction workers, foremen, and engineers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material requirements.
- Proven experience as a mason or in a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using masonry tools, such as trowels, levels, and hammers.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
