- Safe Transportation: Drive vehicles (car, truck, van, etc.) safely and efficiently to transport passengers, goods, or materials.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering road conditions, traffic, and delivery schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fuel-efficient. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Delivery and Pick-up: Ensure timely delivery or pick-up of goods or passengers, ensuring all items are handled carefully and delivered on schedule.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery/pick-up details for reporting purposes.
- Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations, ensuring the vehicle is used responsibly.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
- Clean Driving Record: A history of safe driving with no major violations or accidents.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and move items when necessary, and handle long hours of driving.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines or schedules.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, especially when interacting with customers or supervisors.
