I. ENGAGEMENT DETAILS:
- Role Title: Product Analyst
- Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (Fixed-Term)
- Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension or renewal
- Work Setup: Hybrid
- Work Location: Aseana, Parañaque City
- Work Schedule: Regular Work Hours and Work Days
- Service Fee: Php 30,000.00 to Php 40,000.00 (Subject to final approval)
II. OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for a Product Analyst who will support the end-to-end development of digital products by translating business needs into product requirements and collaborating closely with engineering, design, and business teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, eager to learn, and interested in building technology products that solve real customer problems, particularly within eCommerce and digital platforms.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from user research and product discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
- Gather user feedback and assist in discovery sessions with engineering, design, and business teams to define product solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and customer needs through data and analytics.
- Assist in defining product features, user stories, and functional requirements.
- Help manage and prioritize the product backlog alongside Product Managers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare clear internal and external product documentation, including requirements, process flows, and release notes.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, commercial, marketing, and operations teams to support successful product launches.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor product performance, gather user insights, and recommend product improvements.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement while promoting accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence across the team.
IV. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or any related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in Product Management, Product Analysis, Project Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance (QA), UX/UI Design, Business Analysis, or eCommerce/Retail Operations.
- Strong interest in digital products, software development, and product management.
- Quick learner with a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Able to influence discussions, actively listen, and build consensus across teams.
V. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working on software, SaaS, marketplace, or eCommerce products.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, or modern web applications.
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, or documenting business processes.
- Knowledge of product analytics, user behavior analysis, or A/B testing is an advantage.
