Laundry Assistant

CC LAUNDRY SHOP
- This includes sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing various types of fabrics and garments, while adhering to specific care instructions.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment: This involves using washing machines, dryers, irons, and other related equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions. This also includes cleaning lint traps and other routine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area: This includes keeping the laundry room tidy, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Laundry work often involves standing for long periods, lifting baskets of laundry, and operating heavy machinery. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items are often required.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills: Sorting laundry, following care instructions, and keeping the laundry area organized require attention to detail and good organizational skills. The ability to differentiate between fabrics and follow specific washing instructions is important.
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment and procedures: While training may be provided, a basic understanding of how to operate washing machines, dryers, and irons is helpful. Familiarity with different fabric types and appropriate washing/drying settings is also beneficial.
