Patient Assessment: Evaluate and record patient medical histories, symptoms, and vital signs.
Care Planning: Collaborate with doctors and specialists to develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans.
Clinical Duties: Administer medications, start IVs, dress wounds, and assist with medical procedures or surgeries.
Patient Education: Counsel patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and at-home recovery steps.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient healthcare Key Skills
- Clinical Competency: Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, and diagnostic procedures.
- Communication: Ability to convey sensitive information clearly to patients, families, and team members.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to make quick, accurate decisions during high-stress or emergency situations.
