Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the organization’s overall financial strategy, governance, commercial finance, and business performance. The role will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management , providing financial insights and leadership to drive profitability, sustainable growth, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance leader with extensive experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, or other fast-paced, multi-site environments , with strong expertise in financial strategy, commercial finance, treasury, financial governance, and finance transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management .
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management to support business growth and profitability.
- Oversee commercial finance , including business performance analysis, profitability management, pricing, margins, and financial evaluation of key business initiatives.
- Drive financial performance across multiple sites, business units, stores, and/or operating segments.
- Establish and strengthen financial governance, controls, policies, and risk management frameworks .
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations to ensure financial stability.
- Lead financial negotiations and commercial discussions with landlords, suppliers, brand principals, and other key business partners .
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and enhance financial and operational efficiency.
- Lead finance transformation, process improvement, and digitalization initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of management reports, financial statements, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
- Partner closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, HR, and other business functions to align financial objectives with overall business strategy.
- Develop and strengthen the finance organization through effective leadership, coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Provide financial leadership during business expansion, new store/site development, strategic investments, and other major commercial initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive finance experience , with significant experience in finance leadership roles .
- Proven experience in Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent senior finance leadership positions .
- Preferably with extensive experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, FMCG, or other fast-paced, multi-site businesses .

- Experience managing finance operations in a multi-site or multi-location environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP Business One experience is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting/analysis tools.
