Pharmacy Assistant

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Provide customers with information on prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines (under pharmacist supervision).
- Process sales transactions and handle payments using POS systems.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves and checking for expired medications.
- Receive and store pharmaceutical supplies properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
- Assist in handling prescriptions and verifying customer details.
- Address customer inquiries and refer complex concerns to the pharmacist.
- High school diploma or equivalent (pharmacy-related courses are a plus).
- Prior experience in a pharmacy or retail setting (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of medicines and medical terminology (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Team player with a responsible and professional attitude.
