Printing and Graphics Assistant

The Printing and Graphics Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and technical support in the preparation, formatting, and layout design of the company's multi-channel publication materials. This role focuses on using design tools like Canva to create high-quality graphics, modify text and visual elements, resize marketing collateral for various platforms, and organize digital design archives. The Assistant collaborates closely with internal branding and creative teams to ensure all digital and printed layouts align perfectly with company visual standards and production specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design & Content Creation: Develop and lay out professional visual content using Canva, including social media posts, corporate infographics, recruitment flyers, and promotional business collateral.
- Layout Editing & Modifications: Update existing visual templates by revising text placeholders, swapping out logos or images, and refining formatting elements to match new campaign guidelines.
- Asset Resizing & Reformatting: Adapt and reformat master designs into multiple technical dimensions and preset configurations to ensure visual clarity across presentations, banners, and digital platforms.
- Pre-Production Exporting: Compile and export finalized creative materials into high-resolution, print-ready file formats (such as PDF, PNG, JPG, and PPTX) for physical production or online distribution.
- Digital Asset Governance: Maintain and organize the company’s centralized digital asset library, ensuring all graphics templates, photography resources, and historical design files are properly tagged and archived.
- Brand Consistency: Enforce strict adherence to authorized corporate brand guidelines, color palettes, and typographic hierarchies across all visual outputs.
Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Core proficiency in using Canva for graphic design, template customization, and multi-format exporting. Basic understanding of visual design principles, typography, layout composition, color spaces, and print production requirements.
- Behavioral Competencies: Strong attention to visual detail, great structural organization, a creative and resourceful mindset, and the ability to comfortably accept design feedback and implement edits under tight deadlines.
- Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field. Open to passionate fresh graduates who possess a strong creative portfolio demonstrating mastery of digital layout design and Canva asset management.
