Job Summary
A Call Center Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by handling inbound and outbound calls. The role involves assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, processing requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience while meeting company performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Make outbound calls for follow-ups, surveys, sales, or customer support when required.
- Resolve customer complaints by identifying issues and providing appropriate solutions.
- Process customer requests, orders, account updates, and service transactions accurately.
- Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in the company's database.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisors or the appropriate department.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, call quality, attendance, and productivity.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education is an advantage.
- Previous customer service or call center experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
