Drug Safety Specialist (Night Shift)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Drug Safety Specialist for remote, night-shift pharmacovigilance work in the Philippines. The role involves managing adverse event data, regulatory reporting, and safety case reviews within clinical trial operations across a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day pharmacovigilance activities including adverse event data entry and coding
• Review and assess case quality, consistency, and accuracy across submitted reports
• Prepare and maintain regulatory safety documentation and reports
• Coordinate project activities including trial implementation and safety monitoring meetings
• Stay current with regulatory publications and therapeutic area developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal qualification
• Two or more years of directly related pharmacovigilance or safety experience
• Knowledge of pathophysiology, disease processes, and relevant therapeutic areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management systems
• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication abilities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
