The Junior Systems Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of an organization's IT infrastructure. This role provides technical support for servers, networks, operating systems, and related technologies while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. The Junior Systems Engineer works under the guidance of senior engineers and IT managers to support daily operations and technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and IT systems. Monitor system performance and ensure the availability of critical infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assist with system upgrades, patches, and security updates. Support user account management, access controls, and system permissions. Help maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures. Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
