Jr. Fourth Engineer

We are looking for 2 Jr. Fourth Engineers to join our growing fleet!
Qualification:
- At least 1 year experience as Jr. Fourth Engineer (or equivalent) on international trade.
Job Description:
Main Duties
- Familiarize with the duties and responsibilities of an Engineer in Charge of Engine Watchkeeping by observing the applicable instructions when the vessel is at sea or in port.
- May participate in Engine Watchkeeping after three months of service onboard, provided the Chief Engineer finds him/her capable.
MARPOL
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of Lub. Oil and F.O. Purifiers.
- Participate in bunkering and sounding of tanks.
Safety and Security
- Participate in the weekly test of lifesaving appliances such as lifeboat motors, emergency fire pumps, emergency generators, function and manual manipulation of Funnel Fire Dampers and Engine Room Ventilation flaps.
Maintenance and Repair
- Participate in Lub. Oil sampling and reporting.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of Air Compressors and pumps.
- Assist during the upkeep of special and precision tools for the Main Engine, Auxiliary Engines and Machinery.
