Property Accountant

SOSAJB Property Management Corporation
Responsibilities - Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned properties.
- Record and reconcile rental income, common area maintenance (CAM), utilities, and other property-related revenues.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and tenant billings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
- Ensure timely collection and proper posting of rent and other charges.
- Coordinate with property managers regarding billing issues, delinquencies, and expense controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local tax requirements.
- Assist in tax-related filings relevant to property operations, as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of accounting experience; property or real estate accounting experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Proficient in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
