We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe working environment, ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and promote workplace safety awareness among employees. QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of any relevant course, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
Must possess a valid and appropriate DOLE-accredited Safety Officer training certificate (SO1/SO2 or higher, as required by the position and workplace) .
Knowledgeable in occupational health and safety regulations and construction site safety practices.
Experience in construction or engineering projects is an advantage.
Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Responsible, observant, and able to work independently and with a team.
Willing to work on-site and conduct regular safety inspections.
Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe working conditions.
Ensure compliance with applicable Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and regulations.
Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection checklists, incident reports, and other safety documentation.
Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and awareness programs for employees.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with project personnel and management to address safety concerns.
Monitor the implementation of safety measures at project sites.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of safety plans and emergency response procedures.
