Responsibilities
Picker / Dispatcher
- Check and Dispatch items to respective forwarder per area a
- Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct items and quantities.
- Pick orders per assigned task
Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by reporting discrepancies or shortages.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
Quality Control:
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Ensure that items meet quality standards and specifications.
Equipment Operation:
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols while using equipment.
Communication:
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to address any picking issues or concerns.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
Adherence to Procedures:
- Follow established picking procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices and safety regulations.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Keep the work area organized and clean to promote safety and efficiency.
- Dispose of packaging materials and waste properly.
Continuous Improvement:
- Provide feedback on processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- With basic knowledge in warehousing operation
