IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate IT operations, systems support, and infrastructure management
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and rehabilitation, including upgrades, system migration, and modernization of existing IT environments
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Network architecture (LAN/WAN), servers, storage, and cloud-based systems
• Operating systems (Windows, macOS, and/or Linux)
• Experience in managing and maintaining:
• Network, server, and end-user computing infrastructure
• Data security, backup, and disaster recovery systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, IT governance, and compliance requirements
• Ability to plan, document, and coordinate infrastructure improvements with internal teams and external vendors
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are an advantage

Responsibilities

Design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure , including LAN/WAN architecture, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, to ensure high availability, security, and optimal network performance.

Installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of workstations and network-attached equipment , such as desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and other peripheral devices, including OS setup, patch management, hardware diagnostics, and user-level support to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with IT standards.
