- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints. Strive to create a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
- Sales and Stock Management: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Maintain stock levels by replenishing merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring products are priced correctly. Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. This includes tidying shelves, arranging merchandise, cleaning spills, and ensuring the store is presentable for customers. Adhere to store policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for providing friendly and helpful service to customers. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively are crucial.
- Basic Math and Cash Handling Skills: Accuracy in handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing correct change is a must. Basic math skills are needed for calculating discounts, sales tax, and other transactions.
- Physical Stamina and Availability: Retail work often requires standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying merchandise, and performing repetitive tasks. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is typically required.
