Cost Estimation & Tendering:
- Quantity Takeoffs: Calculate exact material, equipment, and labor requirements from architectural and engineering blueprints.
- Rate Analysis: Determine the unit costs for construction items and prepare comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documents.
- Bid Preparation: Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and prepare competitive tender bid offers.
- Budget Forecasting: Monitor project expenses, track variations, and manage budget alterations as the construction progresses
Site Engineering & Management:
- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure strict adherence to design specifications, blueprints, and local building codes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections and implement quality control measures to prevent costly rework.
- Schedule Control: Monitor project timelines, coordinate with subcontractors, and troubleshoot field-level problems.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA in the US, DOLE regulations in the Philippines) and secure necessary local government permits.
