Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date purchasing records and documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports and summarize purchasing data.
- Handle and monitor claims with local and international suppliers/vendors.
- Source construction and installation materials and equipment from both local and foreign suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of purchased items.
- Monitor inventory levels and facilitate the timely replenishment of supplies.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Perform other purchasing and procurement-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 2-year or 4-year college course
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably involving construction and installation materials and equipment
- Experience in both local and import purchasing is an advantage
- Knowledge of online and field sourcing within Metro Manila
- Background in inventory management and supply procurement
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Can start immediately
- Preferably residing in Mandaluyong, Pasig, or nearby areas
