Senior Sales Account Executive

The Accounts Executive is responsible for handling full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, payments, and accurate financial records. The role supports month-end closing, maintains compliance with internal controls, and works closely with internal stakeholders and external parties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue sales invoices, official receipts (OR), debit and credit memos
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare AR ageing reports and support collection efforts
- Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Address customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in monitoring compliance with credit terms and collection policies
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Ensure invoices are properly approved and supported by relevant documents and process supplier invoices in accounting system
- Prepare payment runs and record payment in accounting system
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate AP records and filing
Tax & Compliance
- Assist in preparation of withholding tax (EWT) schedules
- Support BIR-related requirements, including documentation and reporting
General Accounting
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support audit and tax-related requests
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
Administrative & Support
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Liaise with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and auditors
- Assist in finance process improvements and system enhancements
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Have at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in AR and AP
- Great working attitude with an agile mindset
- Team player
- Possess great communication skills with all stakeholders and a strong command of English language
- Are detail oriented with strong sense of work prioritization and time management
- Are proficient in Microsoft office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in the use of accounting software
- Can work independently and able to work with people across all levels
