Senior Leasing Associate Manager

About the role
The Senior Leasing Associate Manager is responsible for executing leasing strategies at the property level, ensuring high occupancy rates, optimizing tenant mix, and driving rental income growth. This role involves handling the day-to-day leasing operations, negotiating lease agreements, and responding to local market dynamics to secure tenants that align with the mall's positioning and target audience. The Senior Leasing Associate Manager works closely with the Leasing Manager, Asset management, Marketing, and Projects teams to enhance tenant satisfaction and overall mall performance.
Key responsibilities
Executes property-level leasing strategies to achieve high occupancy, optimal tenant mix, and rental income growth
Manages end-to-end leasing operations—from prospecting, screening, negotiations, and oculars to contract execution
Secures tenants aligned with the mall's positioning through close coordination with Strategic Leasing, Asset Management, Marketing, and Projects teams
Optimizes tenant mix using market research, performance monitoring, gap and category analysis
Drives rental revenue through effective pricing, lease structuring, escalations, and timely rent collection
Oversees lease administration to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and financial objectives
Builds strong tenant relationships, serving as primary point of contact for leasing-related concerns and dispute resolution
Engages local markets and brokers, monitors competitors, and provides insights on consumer and retail trends
Coordinates technical and operational requirements for prospective tenants across internal stakeholders
Prepares leasing forecasts, performance reports, and presents recommendations for vacant or expiring spaces to the Leasing Council
About you
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in BS Marketing, BS Business Administration or any equivalent course
Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration is an advantage
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Leasing Management in a retail leasing or commercial real estate
Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting processes, and financial oversight to assist in cost management
Advanced knowledge of lease sales strategies, retail market analysis, and forecasting
Understanding of retail lease structures and negotiations
